Who We Are

My name is Claire and it is my husband, Simon and I who own John's Cottage. It was always our dream to have a holiday home in Norfolk and as we start to look ahead to the future we decided that having a home here we could enjoy ourselves now and also let out could be a good way of helping us plan for retirement in later life.

We have been coming to Norfolk for many years with our two sons and the rest of our family and have always found it to be a great place to relax and have fun.

You may have already asked yourself why we have called the house John's Cottage, in truth perhaps the name is not as appealing as Ivy, Waterside, Heron Cottage or such like. The reason is that John was Simon's father and it was he who first introduced us to the Norfolk Broads and when we were here always ensured we had a great time and helped us make some fabulous memories with family and friends.

Family and friends are at the heart of this Cottage and we hope that you and yours will create some wonderful memories here too!
