Everyone it seems has sat nav these days so if you are driving simply put in NR12 8TH. We are off of Staithway Road - just follow the signs for Peninsular Cottages. We are just 15 minutes away from Norwich.
Once you are here Wroxham has some great transport links so you do not have to drive everywhere.
Hoveton and Wroxham Train Station is a 10 minute walk away. This is an excellent service with trains directly into Norwich taking a mere 12 minutes or if you want to head to Cromer that is around 25 minutes the other way.
If you are coming by train then head to Norwich which is serviced by Greater Anglian and East Midlands Railway. These are great services and we have taken these many times - including with the dog! Return tickets into Norwich or Cromer are approx £6 return - which for 2 of you is probably cheaper than parking - and you don't have to argue about who is going to have a drink when you get to your destination!
There are stops outside Roy's Department store on both sides of the road. As with the trains there are easy links to Norwich, Great Yarmouth and endless pretty villages throughout the surrounding area.
The cottage is 7-8 min walk into Wroxham where you will find everything from Pubs/ Restaurants and the famous Roys' store.
